Ding kuiling, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Shanghai Institute of organic chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, said at the meeting that fluorine chemical industry is an advantageous industry with characteristic resources in China, and the current industrial level has a high position in the world. Fluorine chemical products are not only used in high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, electronic information and other strategic emerging industries, but also play an important role in transforming and upgrading traditional industries. Driven by the national innovation strategy, fully combining the advantages of China's basic research of fluorochemical industry, carrying out the transformation of scientific research achievements into productivity, innovative R & D and production of high-end products is a realistic choice to realize industrial upgrading and win-win cooperation.

Zhang Jianjun, Secretary General of China fluorine silicon organic materials industry association, believes that at present, fluorine chemical industry is in the period of industrial adjustment, but those fluorine chemical enterprises with advanced technologies and products, especially multinational companies, are still doing well. The gap is the development space. In the long run, the prospect of China's fluorine chemical industry is very broad.

However, Zhang Jianjun stressed that fluorine chemical industry must focus on technological innovation to speed up industrial upgrading. We should strengthen the research and development of key technical equipment, increase the proportion of high-end fluorochemical products with high added value and high-tech content, and strengthen the research and development in the application field. We should encourage the combination of industry, University, research and application, give play to the leading and supporting role of technological innovation in the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, and adhere to high-end development.
